We are looking for a QA Lead with the following requirements:
- Requirements: The level of English should be at least B2/C1 and the Profile should also be in English.
- Time Zone: Lisbon;
- Work Schedule: Portugal;
- Number of days at the office: up to 2; Key Responsibilities:
- Test Strategy & Planning: Define and execute a comprehensive test strategy, covering functional, regression, performance, and user acceptance testing to ensure product quality.
- Leadership & Mentorship: Lead and mentor a team of QA engineers, ensuring skills development, best practices, and continuous improvement.
- Test Automation: Oversee and, if necessary, participate in the design and implementation of automated test frameworks.
- Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with development, product management, and project management teams to align on release schedules, define test requirements, and resolve issues efficiently.
- Defect Management: Implement processes for effective defect tracking, reporting, and resolution.
- Quality Metrics: Define and monitor quality metrics, such as test coverage, defect densities, and open defect counts, to measure progress and drive improvements.
- Continuous Improvement: Evaluate, recommend, and implement QA tools, processes, and best practices to enhance the team’s efficiency and product quality.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with at least 2 years in a lead or management role.
- Proven experience with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail) and test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Appium, JUnit).
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
- Knowledge of performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).
- Experience with CI/CD tools and integrating test automation into CI pipelines.
- Familiarity with cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- ISTQB or other relevant QA certifications.
- Duration: Long Term Contract;
- Localization: Braga, on-site/hybrid.
